Crazy Lines

**Crazy Lines** is a retro arcade game about claiming territory — one dangerous line at a time.

Slide along the edge of the playfield, then dive into the open and draw a line. Close a shape to claim the area… but while your line is unfinished, you are exposed. A swarm of wild, ever-changing lines roams the field, sparks patrol the borders, and if you stop for too long, a fuse starts burning towards you.

Claim **75%** of the screen to clear the level. Every extra percent is worth bonus points.

### Features

- **Two ways to draw:** *Fast draw* is quick and safe-ish. *Slow draw* is risky but pays **double points**.

- **Wandering crazy lines:** a chaotic enemy that never behaves the same way twice. From level 3 there are two of them — split them apart for a **score multiplier** (up to x9) for the rest of the level.

- **Sparks and Super Sparks:** edge patrols that get faster over time, and hunters that follow you onto your own line if you take too long.

- **The fuse:** pause mid-line and it ignites. Keep moving!

- **Endless levels** with rising difficulty.

- **Local high-score table** (top 10, arcade-style initials entry).

- **Synthesized arcade sound:** every sound is generated in code — no samples.

- **Keyboard and gamepad support**, windowed or full screen.

### Tips

- You can only draw while a draw button is held; release it and you stop.

- Claim big chunks with fast draw when it is dangerous, save slow draw for quiet moments.

- Look for chances to separate the two crazy lines — the multiplier is huge.

- High scores are saved in `highscores.txt` next to the game.

## Technical info

- **Requirements:** Windows 10 or later, any GPU with OpenGL 3.3 support. No installation: unzip and run `crazy_lines.exe`.
